Save The World With Crocheted Explosives! |

Craft Cartel are inviting all those opposed to the proposed Gunns Bell Bay Pulp Mill and other loggers of native forests to get their knit on and whip up a ton of crocheted explosives. Rise up gentle people! We want to collect lots & lots & lots to let the nation know how many are against the dastardly Mill. When even the knitters get mad, someone's gotta listen. The project was officially launched at the last Trashbag Rehab event, Bang! Knit! Purl! KaPOW! but we'll be collecting explosives until the end of October 2011. There is absolutely no reason for us to be logging native bush & forrest in Australia. Each knitted explosive you make will be strung together with those made by other lovely community members until we have grown a magnificent crafed bomb tree to show our strong opposition to this stupidity. And in the meantime think about sending some coin or a note of support to the super crew at The Wilderness Society who are leading many awesome campaigns including one against the proposed Gunns' Pulp Mill.
